I wouldn't say super power, but I am good at seeing the better, more positive side of not-so-great issues, situations, etc. I've developed my ability to foresee situations that may make me overwhelmed or heighten my anxiety, and make adjustments to avoid the negative side effects. It doesn't always work, but 75% of the time it does.

ReplyDeleteMy super power is being able to keep a smile on my face, and enthusiasm in my voice, even when I'm crying from pain on the inside.
ReplyDeleteI'm: 'faster' than a speeding word wizzing it's way out of my brain through the Fibro-Fog, 'more
ReplyDeletepoweful' than a Flare that makes a full body check by a Raiders defensive lineman seem like a kiss goodnight on the cheek, and 'able to leap' the tallest of social obligations in a single bound (with a resounding "NOOOPE!")...
Going without sleep for days on end, or sleeping for days without waking ;0)
ReplyDeleteMy superpower is making sure I have a rest every afternoon, no matter where I am. It helps me get through the rest of the day. My pain always seems much worse if I miss my rest.
ReplyDeleteMy super power is my stubborn Irish demeanor. I refuse to accept defeat from something I can't see or touch. I also get a massage every other week.
ReplyDeleteI decided to take charge of my own health care and listen to my body, as I believe our bodies are designed to heal themselves. I feel 75% better since using natural remedies. I eat healthy foods, take supplements, exercise, get out in nature, and practice Mindfulness, relaxation, Vitamin J-JOY, and Spirituality (yoga, prayer, guided imagery, tapping, and breathing). I became a Wellness Coach to support those challenged with chronic pain in using natural methods to telieve pain and achieve wellness. I deeply desire for everyone to know they are not alone! #painreliefthenaturalway
