Where to find FREE images

Where to find free images

We all know that our posts need images, especially if we want to be shared on social media and who doesn't want to be shared?
No one will share your post on facebook or Pinterest unless it has an image.
So no more excuses for not having a great photo even if you are not a great photographer because... here are over 15 places to get wonderful, free images online, right now, today. They are all free to use on your blog, website or on social media.

Let's start with the ones I use, in no particular order:

Unsplash
These are quite artistic and unusual in my opinion. Also high quality.  They seem to add new photos every day and also you don't see the same photos you find everywhere there. Here is an example from Felipe Dias ...

Where to find free images

Morguefile
Has been around for ages, since 1996 in fact, when Michael Connors created it to be a free image exchange for creatives and teachers to share and use in their work. All the photos are free to download and use whether it is commercial or not.  You do have to join to download the images.

And now to the free online photo sites that I have found for you but never used. In no particular order:

These do seem to be unique photos that I have not seen elsewhere.  "Reshot grants you an irrevocable, nonexclusive copyright license to download, copy, modify, distribute, perform, and use photos from Reshot for free, including for commercial purposes, without permission from or attributing the photographer or Reshot."

BURST
This site is made by shopify and has high resolution free stock photos for websites and commercial use. I like how you can search through their newest photos.

picjumbo
