Five fibro bloggers

Beverley has been blogging at Blooming Mindfulness since 2016. She has many chronic illnesses including Fibromyalgia, anaemia, chronic fatigue, depression and general anxiety disorder. Despite all of these, and being a carer, she has a very positive outlook. You can catch up with her through the many lovely videos she has created chatting about her life as a disabled vintage witch!

I blog about my experiences and give tips and tricks to help and inspire other disabled people. I also hope to raise awareness and compassion from able-bodied people wanting to educate themselves.

I hope my posts and videos help you, but I am not a doctor and though I trained as a nurse I cannot give personalised help and advice.

Helen blogs at Living whole: Neurodivergent lived experience with a side order of chronic health. As well as Fibromyalgia, POTS, Autism and ADHD and Ehlers-Danlos hypermobility she writes about being a highly sensitive person and...
what it is like to live as a neurodivergent adult female with chronic health conditions whilst trying, very hard, to impart some of the breakthroughs and many positives of increased self-understanding that have come out of the journey.
I aim to offer is a resource comprised of relatable experiences and clues in the dark for other people exploring their health status as I have had to do…and, in fact, as all of us with chronic conditions such as ME/CFS are forced to do for ourselves given these conditions are still so widely misunderstood, stigmatized, under-researched and generally swept under the carpet.

Susan's blog is Living Creatively with Fibro where she has been blogging to help others understand more about Fibromyalgia and share the creativity that helps her in her life.

In 2016, I started the blog “Living Creatively with Fibro.” The first reason was to chronicle my journey. Then as time passed by I realised that there was so much that was unknown or misunderstood about Fibromyalgia. Even within the medical community. So I wanted to help the “Spoonie” community get the word out.

Although I write quite a lot about Fibromyalgia and Spoonie Life. That does not define me, and so I write about how I live with Fibro too.

Bethan blogs at Hello Fibro Blog. She has been suffering with chronic pain since she was ten but was not diagnosed with Fibromyalgia till many years later. She was in her early 20's when she started blogging.
I started this blog to come to terms with my diagnosis but also to raise awareness and help others with similar conditions know they are not alone. I have found an amazing community of bloggers and the chronically ill that support one another through everything 💜
Some of her interesting Fibro posts include:

Dan blogs at CFS Unravelled Opening the Door to Recovery from ME/CFS & Fibromyalgia. He is a former Physicist who used his scientific training to research Fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, and POTS when he was ill with for 7 years. His main goal is to educate and assist patients and their healthcare providers in understanding these conditions. His blog is full of video interviews including experts in the field. He believes that...
despite the fact that there is no panacea cure for these disorders, full recovery is absolutely possible.
