Fibromyalgia Awareness in May

Helping to spread fibromyalgia awareness is what we are all about here at Fibro Blogger Directory.
This month is extra special as it is international Fibromyalgia Month with Fibromyalgia Awareness Day on May 12th. That is why we are hoping you can join in and help us by sharing the articles that are linked up this week or sharing the link up. Of course we would love to have your article here to if it is about fibromyalgia.
You can also find out what else we are doing for this special awareness month.

This Is Fibro - Fibromyalgia Awareness campaign in May

Fibromyalgia Awareness in May

We are pleased that you have joined us to find out about fibromyalgia awareness. Welcome to Fibro Blogger Directory where we are all about raising awareness of this chronic pain condition.

Around the world May 12th is celebrated as Fibromyalgia Awareness Day, that's why it is great that you are here right now. In May we have an extra special campaign to reach out and help others understand fibro, not just on May 12th but each and every day. And we would love you to join us. You can do this in a variety of ways:

1. Let others on social media know about fibromyalgia by using the hashtags #ThisIsFibro and #FibromyalgiaAwareness
You can also simply re-share the images and quotes we share daily on our twitter and facebook accounts.

2. Get more involved by sharing something about fibromyalgia here in the comments. We would love a one or two sentence quote from you that we can re-share, on twitter, using your name - what do you want others to understand about Fibromyalgia?

3. Get even more involved and join our free, private facebook group called FIBRO CONNECT. Here you can share your photo and quote for us to make into a shareable image like the ones below.

4. Use the hashtag #ThisIsFibro in your own social media posts that are about Fibromyalgia.

This Week's Fibro Tip - tapping

Thanks for dropping in to read this week's fibro tip.

This Week's Fibromyalgia Tip

This week's tip comes from Sue Ingebretson at Rebuilding Wellness.
Sue explains "When it comes to chronic illness, the basic benefit of Tapping is that it tells the body (through both physical touch and verbal communication) that we are okay. In other words, for the present moment, it tells our over-active brain that we’re safe and free from imminent threats."
"Tapping (or, E.F.T., Emotional Freedom Technique) is a simple tool that can be used to relieve stress, reduce pain, provide clarity, lower anxiety, and more benefits than I could ever list here."
Find out how to do tapping at Sue's blog.
