If you catch a glancing smile, look deep into that person and think for a while. Is it a mask they wear, so not to share as they feel people don't care, cause they look fit and well. Oh dear. Nothing is clear because it's invisible. Invisible illness you cannot see, pain, suffering and disability are real, trust me. The loss of yourself and who you once was, now with problems and so many flaws and thinking of your old life that once twas. Always show empathy and compassion to everyone you meet, now their invisible illness has made their lives bitter sweet and incomplete.
